This program equips students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities they need to install, maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and modify mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrohydraulic, and electropneumatic systems using computerized or programmable logic controllers. Students will also:
- Be able to help set up production line equipment
- Learn about electricity, electronics, soldering, piping systems, machining, vibration analysis, and automation
- Know how to work with equipment and systems such as pumps, presses, ventilators, speed variators and reducers, conveyors, compactors, compressors, electric motors, hoisting equipment, and industrial production machines
