The mechanical engineering program provides students with a well-rounded education that includes the mathematical concepts and fundamental science of engineering as well as the science and technology of mechanical engineering. Students will learn to design equipment and processes. They will also learn about disciplines within mechanical engineering such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, machine elements, vibration dynamics, mechanical manufacturing, computer-integrated manufacturing, and robotics. With the knowledge and skills they acquire, students will be ready to work as mechanical engineers in the electric and smart transportation sector.
